We lucked out with really great weather for the boat show weekend. On Friday, there was a lake tour of the southern basin. About ten boats gathered at the Lake George Village docks to participate, one of the best turnouts we have had in years.
A number of boats took off on their own during the tour, but four boats managed to complete the whole thing and stopped for a late lunch at the Boathouse Restaurant.
That evening, we had a cocktail cruise aboard the Morgan, a tour boat operated out of the Sagamore resort. About 80 people enjoyed a beautiful sunset cruise up into The Narrows along the Tongue Mountain range, with plenty of libations and good food. It was the perfect kick off for the boat show weekend.
Here are some photos from Friday’s events.
