Friday cruise was going well until the downpour on the return trip. Everyone returned wet but safe.
– Welcome reception set a new record with over 65 in attendance. Rain held off luckily.
– Saturday was perfect weather
– Show and Awards dinner was attended by Joe Fleming with son Jim.
– Several sponsor displays and not for profits participated including the Living ADK, Adirondack Museum, Central Adirondack Association, Fulton Chain of Lakes Association, Old Forge Fire Department. Interviews with all over the public address system
– Other land displays with Tumblehome, runabouts and kayak builders.
– ADK had a membership tent set up and took in seven new members with several additional considering joining later.
– Live folk music by a trio with ties to the chapter
– Food vending by the Old Forge American Legion
– Awards dinner was a sellout at the Thendara Golf Club.
– Neil Satterly thanked everyone for attending and bringing boats.
– Awards were presented by Rob Kidd and John Hornick
