We’re excited to share something new with our members: a refreshed chapter logo, ready to fly on everything from event banners to burgees to t-shirts.
For years, our logo has served us well — the burgee, the bold “A,” and that deep navy have always been at the heart of who we are. But as we’ve grown, and as our work has shown up in more places (boat show signage, our website, social media, merchandise), we felt it was time for an update that would carry our identity forward with a little more clarity and confidence.
We partnered with a professional design firm (co-owned by one of our board members, so no cost to our chapter) to bring it to life. A guiding principle throughout: stay connected to our parent organization. ACBS international has built tremendous brand equity over nearly five decades, and we wanted our chapter mark to clearly belong to that family. You’ll see it in the navy palette and in the raked “A” — both pulled directly from the national logo — anchoring our chapter identity in the broader ACBS heritage, while maintaining our own.
What’s new is a cleaner composition, modernized typography, and a splash of red to give the flag a little more life. Plus we’ve got it in two formats, the stacked version shown in the header at the top of our website page, and the horizontal version shown below.
Same chapter. Same passion for vintage and classic boats. Just looking a little sharper as we head into the season.
We hope you love it as much as we do. See you at the next show.
