The Adirondack region is home to an impressive number of local boat shops and expert restorers & builders, including some historic names in wooden boats such as GarWood and Hacker.
One of the benefits of membership in the Adirondack Chapter of ACBS is access to workshops hosted by these boat shops.
During these sessions, most of which are absolutely free, you get a behind-the-scenes tour of the shop, plus the opportunity to learn from the best of the best. These workshops cover everything from antique and classic boat maintenance to restoration practices.
